The ties, the hats! This is a look we love. So polished and complete. The tie bar was a necessary accessory to complete this look. It held the tie in place so it would not swing forward, replacing the tie tack, which destroyed many silk ties by leaving a permanent hole. Tie bars have a place in fashion history as the one jewelry piece every man wore everyday, even those resistant to wearing rings (including the wedding ring phobic!).
